H.264 problems

How can i make AMVs with the dattebayo encodes of bleach and naruto
i have sony vegas8.0pro
dattebayo encodes are H.264 in avi container
i'm able to play them in(i have avccodec)
VLC
Real player
Kantaris
divx pl

but when i load them in vegas i only get the audio

i am aware of avisynth

i used .avs file having this command- avisource("path")
then i tried to use VFAPI but i am having installation problems
when i double click on the .bat file (for installation) in the folder it says "cannot locate vifp.inf"(after opening the cmd screen)
My OS is WINDOWS VISTA 64BIT HOME PREMIUM

if there is any way of using H.264 in avi in vegas
then please post it here

There is a similar topic here in this forum but it didn't help me

For one, you should buy the DVDs.
Secondly, you put the .avs into VDubMod, and have it spit out a Lagarith or HuffyUV.

Since I guess he's still off looking for it, here's a guide to follow. Yes, it says DivX, but it's the same procedure.

while installing proxyon.reg which enables us to use dummy avi files
i get this error
"not all data could be imported some keys are open by the system or other processes"
i guess i'm going right...... am i???????
