I see lines going through the screen on fast moving parts on a progressive video that is 24 frames a sec. I remember seeing this sometimes on high end fps when I look around really fast on my other computer but not videos.
They flicker up and down.
They kind of look like this..

Just 1 pixel high lines
I see them in WMP MPC and VLC.
If I Change the output setting to VMR7 (windowed) in MPC then the lines go away but the visual quality of the image ends up looking worse.

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7250

Is there actually a 1px line going across the screen? Or does it look like the screen has been split and the two halves are slightly out of sync with each other, and the cut moves across the screen? If it's the latter, that's vertical tearing, which is a VSync issue.
If you have tearing it could be caused by all sorts of things. Update your video drivers, get the latest versions of media players, etc. Google your video card model, your media player, and "vsync" / "tearing."
Someone might have a more detailed solution for you but I suspect you're going to have to track down the answer yourself. GL.

After shitty support from sony saying mp4 is for cell phones and I pods and not designed to go full screen on a computer. Then cornering them a bit they say it's made for hdtvs and not computer screens, and then me telling them it's a standard format to be played full screen on your computer(apple trailers), and still feeding me shit.. I've decided I'm just going to return this product to them.
Just encase anyone is wondering, the model number is VGNFZ290EBB part of the FZ series. I talked to two different people and they were feeding me the same f'ing lines... so I'm now deciding sony pc is not for me with all this extra crap on their computers that I don't need, especially the hardware like build in cameras, memory slots, hdmi output so I can display it on my tv when I could just use VGA. I thought it was cool but I think I could get a better deal on a computer that is more reliable.
Also found out the nvidia chip I have had many complaints and is very faulty.
Thanks, that is all.
