Well only four made it to up beat, guess I couldn't make the cut. Oh well I haven't even been making videos for a year so I'm not too surprised. Anyhow, all I have to say is: Watch out next year, Eru will be back!

Neither was mine. Flashy != good video. In fact (and I'm not just saying this to make you feel better), yours was one of the higher ranked videos on my prescreening scores. I took a brief look at your profile and immediately remembered it (which is good).

Ha ha thanks! The problem with my amv was that you needed to know the story of Angelic Layer to get it. So in a crowd with mixed anime viewing history it would turn out looking mediocre.

Gotta try harder next year! haha

Yeah I don't mean to knock anyone else's video, but that Angelic Layer video I distinctly remember being one of the stronger vids in a fairly weak category so I'm a bit surprised and disappointed. Oh well. I had my vote and others did as well.

...it should also be noted that Koop is also an Angelic Layer fan like me, so is also biased

I have to admit that I'm not too thrilled about being DQ'ed since the cutoff date for winning awards prior to the con was a bit too late in my opinion.

Other than that, good luck to all the finalists!

I got DQ'ed for content D: (only one at that, lol.) Oh well, I knew it was a risk when I made my video, though I hold no regrets.

I think he was referring to Castor Troy's video. That or going the complete opposite direction and referring to rehdogg.com...

yeah, I was a little concerned about being DQ'd for content cause I chose Persona 3 (an M rated game), and there was some blood in it, I wasn't too sure, but glad it qualified. I knew it was a smart idea to leave out the melting eyeball, lol
