I will look into confirming the date. GeneStarwind21122's post entitled "AMA 2008 Official Contest Results" is dated March 1st, 2008. Were the winners chosen before the con? If not, and the con was on this date, my sincerest apologies to jubjub2 for DQing her. Her video did score high enough to get in the contest so if everything checks out, I will extend the length of the contest to include her on the ballot, making 5 videos in upbeat now.

Alan hasn't done anything pertaining to the AMV contest, so I don't know why he would make a post like that, let alone a rediculous claim. At 135 entrants, 3 people per entrant, that's over 400 seats, or HALF of video 6 closed off! No, as it has always been done, only the finalists will get leet seats. If you want to skip the line and didn't make finals, glomp someone who did and make a friend real fast.

It is completely random. If you show up and want to see your video, speak up and we'll play yours next. No point in showing up to 3 whole overflows just to catch your video. There's a whole other con to go to as well!
