So, usually I'm using Adobe Audition in order to put some effects or filters over audio and I've actually been using it since the first version of Cool Edit. When I had this video production course we used Mac software, so that would be Soundtrack Pro from Apple. The big difference between Audition and Soundtrack Pro is the fact that Soundtrack Pro uses non-destructive editing, meaning that you can add filters/effects and then change or delete them later on, switch the order of those filters/effects - you know which is basically what we do when we apply effects on videos in our NLE-programs, but for audio.
It's pretty much great!
I'm not really keen on using the Mac - especially for AMVs, then I'd rather use Windows. So I was wondering if there's a prgram like that, but for Windows. I'm not really familiar in this area... Also I know that Pro Logic can do this kind of stuff, but that's out of my league. And using the NLE itself, like Premiere Pro, is a bit too limited.
Also, an audio editing program that can handle key frames would be awesome too!
Non-destructive audio editing for Windows?

MP3 Stream Editor should do.
Found it through wikipedia... there's a good list of audio editing software, you might want to check that list out by yourself! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_au ... g_software
