Coming to me for their truly intended meaning won't do you any good; you should figure it out for yourself.
On that note, someone asked on the first page about the meaning of the Spice and Wolf pic. My interpretation of it was that the old man in the third slide was someone talking about economics or advanced trade subjects. I don't know if that's what he actually is, but it seemed to fit and I thoroughly enjoyed it under that assumption.
