Finally the drama has let up after a good 5 episodes of a really breakneck pace, but yea, looks like the big one is coming soon. Good way to take a breather and elaborate the political situation a little.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Episode 17, the battle for Japan begins RIGHT NOW!!! :o
Spoiler :
- Xingke and his forces started their waves of attacks at the coast in which they got a lot of difficulty due to Knight of One's and Knight of Ten's Knightmares.

- But of course the highlight of this episode is Suzaku's and Lelouch's confrontation which at first started very shakey with Lelouch pretty much accepting punishment from Suzaku. With all that done, Suzaku then agreed to protect Nunnally as long Lelouch continues what he's doing as long it brings piece. Lelouch accepted this, and as the two were about to shake in agreement, Guilford and his gang intervened. Schneizel (who orchestrated the whole thing) and the rest now know that Lelouch is Zero and then arrested him. It's pretty much this moment where Lelouch's and Suzaku's friendship pretty much went south with Lelouch thinking that he sold him out again.

- OF COURSE, Lelouch wouldn't get himself deep into this predicament without a backup plan! Before all this happened Lelouch used his Geass on Guilford ahead of time into thinking that he's Cornelia as long he gave a specific signal. Guilford pretty much pulled an "Orange" and got Lelouch out of custody.

- Now comes the real plan Zero has orchestrated against the Brittanians. With him flying towards the Tokyo Settlement, the Brittanians were ready to knock him down. Then Zero activated those trains he used against Jeremiah which shut down the entire power grid in Tokyo rendering all of the defenses useless. He also ordered Rolo to retrieve Nunnally as well (uhhh, was that even a good idea? Though in retrospect, I believe Sayoko is there as well probably to act as insurance) This is where the real show starts! :twisted:

- Meanwhile, Schneizel starts to question Suzaku's motives so he pressured him into using the Freya, the new destructive weapon Nina developed,
Few other developments arise as well.
Spoiler :
- Diedheardt was indeed blackmailing Ougi by holding Villeta hostage.

- The Emperor is making preparations for Ragnorok which obviously is going to be the biggest threat this series has to offer.

- Karen's boobies! Did anyone noticed they're much larger than before? :lol:

Just when you think Lelouch and Suzaku are becoming friends again, you can leave it to older siblings to screw that up >.<

I actually lol'd when I read this because I was about to say the same thing.
