Well...if you're trying to say that you're trying to be original...that's a toughie XD I try to make all my amv's original (and I'm told a majority of them are) you gotta take whatever has been used before and complete ignore it lol.

Try something else no one has before, such as using a song that maybe no one has ever heard of, or syncing up different.

Also..."Flash Program?" I hope you mean like... Editing program, like WMM or Sony Vegas. If you're trying to make your own little flash animation and pass it off as a amv...it's been done before...I've seen a lot of "MADs" that done that before.

Also, if you're trying to be original, just make an amv that you want to make. This may sound stupid, but don't do what others are doing. Do what YOU want to do...try to not take much opinions from others as well.

I hope I helped XD

If you're looking for a program to use for making AMVs, you can check the boards on video editing here for the names of various video editors, but there are no programs, so far as I know, that cater specifically to makers of AMVs. As others have already told you, the awesomeness factor has to come from your own skill and creativity, not to mention dedication to getting the job done.

If you've just got a really awesome arrangement for a series of clips from an anime, most any editing program should be sufficient. I still do all of my AMVs on VirtualDub, which is little more than a program for cutting and pasting video and audio sequences. If you're looking to do some really awesome special effects, I'm led to understand Adobe Premiere and Vegas each have some excellent capacities for producing those.

If you're planning to draw and animate all the art yourself and compile it into a video, well, that does sound pretty awesome: you have my admiration. However, you're a bit out of our league; most of us here don't do that. About all I can suggest is to go draw all the art the old-fashioned way, scan it into your computer and get it properly trimmed into frames that are all the same size using a graphics editor, and then use VirtualDub to sequence the frames into a video. If you're looking for a flash program specifically designed for making flash animations, go check out the homepage of the company that makes whichever flash player(s) you use; the makers might have a program for you.

im kinda hoping to make the majority of it AMV and one or two scenes be something animated like flash(either that or i have to use stills)
and i usually cant decide between selection in the software reviews
(i can maybe use sony vegas)
but then that leaves a program i can use to somehow animate a scene or two that ive thought of(and im gonna try to make the animating resemble an anime as much as possible, with texture, detail, shading, etc)
so instead of an AMV program can someone please suggest a program that i can
use to 'animate' a scene or two

and i mean 'animate' by just making some pictures I draw move(kinda like flash)
so in that sense i think its gonna be original
something like:
10%-realistice moving drawings(kinda like flash)
and
90%-AMV
