Getting video on movie maker

Post by elbo » Thu Aug 07, 2008 12:32 am

I have as far as I can tell de interlaced my footage via avisynth and have gotten rid of any letterboxing, as well as given avisynth the appropriate field order, which is 0. I tried to make an AVI of the footage via MakeAVIS, but the result seemed to have a stop go motion to it. My basic question is this: When attempting to prepare footage for Windows movie maker, what is the best codec and overall method to use.
Thanks in advance for any help. :P

Using VirtualDubMod and turning the files into Huffy or Uncompressed AVIs (I've heard Lagarith doesn't work so well).
