Any Song Suggestions?

Post by timelltell » Thu Aug 07, 2008 4:54 pm

Hello AMV community,

I’m looking for a song suggestion for a project that I would like to start. I've been looking for a while now but I still haven't found quite what I'm looking for. I'm making a drama AMV using the anime "Clannad." I need a song that focuses on moving on after the death of a loved one, or something to that effect. I would prefer a female vocalist (although that isn't absolutely necessary.) It also will need to be a smooth sounding song too, not to edgy or eerie sounding, as well having a strong build and climax. Anyways, just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone had any ideas. Thanks in advance for all your help!

That got old so long ago, and it wasn't even funny to begin with. I'm seriously thinking you don't even read threads anymore. Besides, this guys serious. Why don't go act like an @$$ in the threads that actually deseve to be mocked.

That was actually the main point of my post, because I can't really think of something off the top of my head. Maybe "Black Parade" by My chemical romance? It's a male singer, and I'd be surrprised if you hadn't already thought of it. But the theme is pretty much exactly how you discribed.

How about "Beautiful Goodbye" by Amanda Marshall? Though it's more in the term two people who have separated, rather than died. But it might work.
I also always thought that "Here's to the Night" by Eve 6 could be taken as being about a loved one being gone.
