.mkv on Mac

I used imkvextract to demux a .mkv file that I have into the video, subtitles and audio tracks. However, I can't find a program that can recombine these into a .avi. It needs to work in OSX.

VLC on Mac will play .mkv files. Why go through the trouble?

VLC's transcoding wizard. If it plays fine in VLC, that should work. The Mac version does include that functionality, right?

Are you sure that there is a XviD Video Stream in the mkv? It could be easly a x264 file wich may causes troubles.
