An ocean of dust and randomly strung together pieces of hydrogen, serving no purpose other than allowing all of us to continue in our misery, doomed to an enternity of petty squabbles and meaningless ego trips, until the whole thing one day explodes and starts the whole shebang all over again. - Chaos_Angel

I am 16 and have been at it since about 13 (even though I didn't get my own footage until my 5th AMV which was earlier this year.) I think it does have something to do with how long you have been with it but it also deals with what you feel like during the particular AMV. When I did my 5th vid I felt rushed and bored while making it so it turned out looking like shit. My last vid which I just finished, I put alot of work into it because I felt relaxed and felt like experimenting a little. Well, there is my 3 cents.

Well I'm 37. Probably one of the oldest editors and I've been editing longer than some of you've been alive! Not too sure if that is suppose to be bad or good
I remember when I made a capture card (yes, made from scratch) for my Apple II+ in the mid 80s. It had to be hardwired into a TV set, captured in a resolution of 120 x 80 (I think) and all in B&W (not even greyscale) only! And at that time I though that was every impressive
All the video editing I could do back then was move around pixles on the screen with a fading effect. These days things have slightly improved!

Things have advanced a tad haven't they no man, i think thats cool. i remember when i used to make things from scratch. nuthin impressive, just wired a few circuit boards together and got something that made various sounds.
