Uploading Trouble

I've read the FAQ and I've read the stickied thread about uploading problems, but no one seems to describe my problem. Or maybe I'm reading something wrong. XD

I've put all of my AMV information in, but I can't seem to get the actual file onto this site. The information is here, but I can't seem to actually get the video uploaded. When I tried to follow instruction, it sent me to 'request permission'; I may have been not supposed to click that, so maybe I made a mistake. .___. I'm very lost here; there seem to be so many options.

If this is a silly question, try to go easy on me; this is very complex the first time visiting here. ><

no, request upload permission is right. If you haven't already, click the "upload video" button in your member's main page.

this should bring you to another screen where you select the video you want to upload (it's a drop down box with all the videos you can upload in it)

After that, click ok (or whatever button is at the bottom of that page...it's been a while since I've uploaded anything myself)

the next screen should give you a username/password combo (which you should write down)

then, follow my 9 step uploading thingy

my links are not valid ? i have my amv clips already on youtube and eoh . com i wont to enter the clips ... but no link is valid ... and i doesn''t write any wrong i tryed many things

Streaming sites are not valid links. Upload the video here or link to the file itself.

Okay, I'm a bit confused about something here. I've already uploaded the video to the ftp server but whenever I go to confirm the upload, the video information page doesn't have a download link to test it. WTF?

Because you don't confirm it on the vid info page, you go to the tab (that used to be Upload Video) Called Confirm Video and follow the instructions from there.

I know that.
I think it'd be easier to just show you what I'm talking about

Okay I click on the confirm video after I finished uploading it. It takes me to here. So it uploaded it fine. I click the link to take me to the download page and this is what I get

Nothing. I tried canceling the upload and re-uploading the video. I get the same result. Any clue why the download link is not showing up?

Did you actually go through the whole confirmation process? If you did, putting in the byte size, confirming the video looked alright in a test download, and confirming all of that, then getting to the upload queue screen, then all I can say is wait, or lodge a complaint in the Mod Drop Box.
