Hold On [AWA Pro entry]

So, here's my AWA Pro video. It won Best Dance/Upbeat and Best Shinkai video there, as well as Best Dance/Upbeat at Connichi. It's very, er, different for a Shinkai video. So, those of you sick of slow drama/romance Shinkai videos, I feel your pain. Here's some medicine.

Liked to watch this on the Pro discs and at connichi. My biggest complain about this vid was the missing motion blur

Glad ya fixed it. I also don't mind the paper bg ya added. And neat use of camera movement, even tho it might have been to fast at same places.

This really kicked ass. I was very impressed with it. (maybe the only thing I woulda changed if at all would be some of the camera moves are a little too quick in that they don't hold on an image quite long enough) 5/5

edit: phew, when i saw that poster i thought my masturbation themed shinkai vid was going to be redundant.
Loved the bit with the calendar.
I'm sure the whole thing would really look a damn sight better if you used a bit of exaggerated dof blur, looks very flat as it is.

Still thoroughly awesome stuff though,

I would have never guessed in a million years that you edited this except for the fact that it had your name on it. It was a step outside your usual box, and I'm glad you did it. It was neat, and the only real complaint was a lack of color. I wasn't a huge fan of the greyscaleness, but I overlooked it at the halfway mark.

This was exactly what the doctor ordered. :O
