Frankly, that's fine with me. I'll never meet most of you, nor do I care about most of you. I expect the same reaction from everyone else.

Animosity is easy to maintain when it's just words on a page. Easier than establishing friendship, really, because people -- in general -- are easier to offend than befriend. Especially when those people are nerds.
Dude, if you wanted a hug just ask.

I don't put many expectations on myself or others NEXT! No seriously I probably should expect more of myself, but... it just never turns out how I want it to

*revised*

I expect others to be able to do what I can't :amv: that about sums it up for me lol see I CAN'T have higher expectations of myself for if I did than I'd expect WAY too much of others lol see? see?

Also it's always fun to have all the fangirls (fanboys not so much  ) that have higher expectations of me than I do of myself ^_^.

What are your expectations of yourself and others compared to your past, present, and future works?

My expectations as an editor are pretty simple. I don't want to change my style. I was inspired by videos from before 2003, where it was cutting, fades and the occasional effect. I love this style of editing. So, all I can do is keep up with technology. Use the latest techniques to have the best looking video possible(Given the source, anyway), compression and whatnot. Above all else...polish my videos before I release. I'm bad about that.

And how do you think others perceive you and your work? How does that make you feel?

I, honestly, feel that the expectations around the .org are so high that it can be overwhelming to release a video here. Aspect ratios, resolutions, avisynth scripts and especially video source. Release a Naruto video in AMV announcements and watch out, you're about to get owned. Here on the site, if you don't take making AMV's serious don't bother posting in the forums with your video. Put those videos on the Tube. I realize that putting an entire anime episode to a random song will get you a few thousand views and comments that are rarely negative, but it's a lot easier for the non-serious business AMVer.

I, however, like Kionon sorta go back and forth. I strived to make my Appleseed video great and as a result I got some great feedback from some well-known people within the community. It was a good feeling. I long for that kind of attention again, but I lack the inspiration to get me there.

So many questions so little time.
Well I Except amvs to get more into action, which i don't like, i am more into romance and stuff but it will go prob to action, that is others, I expect my work to get more into mood and romance amvs, My Expectations are justified cuz i've seen so many ppl getting into action and stuff, and ppl expect so flashy amvs O_o i don't think much to see amazing amvs but surely hoping so :)
PS: but yeah if you are wondering my opinions, i am creator and just started to use a-m-v.org so i haven't had time to put my vids here.
