new chapter out. Lots of talking. More development. I have no idea how many overpowered characters the author wants to keep including into the story, seems like the whole revenge aspect of the story is gone now and it'll reach a point where "oh whoops this was about Clare avenging teresa not the ppl who died in the north right?"

Like they say "Time to move on"...
Yeah, the story just keeps getting more confusing and new variables are added with every chapter. Now,let's see if it'll become a new Berserk when it comes to number of volumes...

I still only read the first volume of Manga in Claymore.

Then you did it in the wrong order. The anime is almost in lock-step with the manga up until
Spoiler :
the battle in the northern city at the end. (The fight between Claire and Priscilla is not cannon.)
After that the anime goes off and does its own thing before finally ending. The Manga is still going strong (or at least as strong as anything with a monthly release schedule can go).

I wonder what the odds are that they will do another run of this anime with more from the manga.

TBH I hate when animes end like this and the manga keeps going, especially when I enjoyed the anime alot. It's like a ploy to just get the manga more enthusiasts and some extra money in the process.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
