AMV HELP!

Okay, I have been struggling with this for a while. i have never done this before so I’m looking for a step by step guide on how to make VOB files into usable footage for a video. And I mean, step by step, no wording like "And then start cranking out .DMV files” or things like that. About the farthest I can get is the point where I add filters and I have probably forgotten that sense my last attempted at making sense of this.

Just start at the begining, and you'll get to the DVD part in due time. It is step by step, with complete explanations to boot.
