Die Geschichte von Vash

Post by Vigil Mortis » Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:50 pm

Ok, its a bit late, but finally here comes the announcement.

Video: The Story of Vash
Category: Don't know. Maybe: Comedy, Parody or something like that.
Anime: Trigun
Interpret: EAV
Song: Die Geschichte
Creator: Vigil Mortis

The AMV was selected as the best AMV in the beginner-class on the Aninite 08 in Vienna. It tells the story of Vash the Stampede :) .
There are not really any effects, but much lipsync.

Compress your audio next time. You have a sub 70 MiB filesize of which 50 MiB is just audio. This audio could be compressed to size of less than 5 MiB with AAC 128 kbit/s for example, making the file size < 25 MiB.

Must be momentary insanity but I'll try to download it nevertheless... will edit post after watching.

_______

EDIT: Quite good. Too bad Ich sprechen nich Deutsch so I have very little clue if there's lyric synch in it. Well, at some lines I'm pretty darn sure there was but 99% of it... I'm just left wondering if there was. Quite good synching to the melody changes in music and consistently using same characters for refrains.

Better than vast majority of noobs. Or depends how we define a noob. Your first amv is 2007-04-28 making me look more like a noob. You have two videos while I have a dozen. But have you listed all your videos?

Lipsync vid of the year right behind the vid from your brother =P

I like the vid and it really deserved to win at the AniNite. It´s cool. :)
Yeah compressed audio would be neat.

Recommended for those who speak german. It´s interessting what he did with the lyrics of the song if you ask me.
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:

It's about time you announce this!

I liked the story in your amv better than even Dreizehn's or Bauzi's (sorry Bauzi, it's just a plain hilarious amv). Vash not only being a character, but also the narrator of the story is just great... absolutely perfect use of the song, really, aside from a few technical flaws.

DEFINITELY recommended for german-speakers. I'm very impressed that you watched this without being one, whiic, but I doubt you enjoyed it as much as Bauzi and I did. It's just a song nearly without potential for action-scenes, but the lipsync makes the amv worth watching.

/isn't communicate with German.

I still enjoyed the video somewhat.
Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.
