Yay, finally its out

I already saw it before it got posted here though

In any case, surely it could have been better, thats always the case. It did have an unique feel to it for me and the mood sucks you totally into the vid.

About the PAL land joke, thats bs, I live there and love 640 x 480. But its not a weird size since most 4:3 fansubs are in that size.

Anyways, glad I could have helped you with the anime to use Scorpion-P, the result makes me happy I helped you out

Long standing jokes to the contrary, I wasn't actually being funny.

720 X 576 is the normal dvd resolution for PAL (1.067 pix) making it a worthwhile comment from/about people outside of the US

. (esp when you consider the number of US editors who use 720X480 and yet no one complains)
Most fan subs are not PAL since they are taken from Japanese TV (or other sources) which are NTSC so the 640X480 resizing makes sense.
Since the creator of this video lives in an area that uses PAL it's not strange for him to actually use PAL PAR/DAR instead of NTSC, it just all depends on where he got his sources from (and since some sources were NTSC it's not that surprising that he converted all to the 1 format and a smaller res does cut down on the file size too ... it also makes it easier to send to US cons who rarely bother accepting formats other than NTSC .... but that's an argument for another time ).
Personally I tend to use 765X576 with my PAL DVD sources as I prefer square pix and not squish faced characters AND because it's the recommended resize for PAL in the AV-tech guide. :]
