Newbie needs help!

Noob question? Yes, i know. But im converting a clip in Vdub. Its only 15seconds but its 450mb. I only change the compression to HuffyV and thats all. Is there anything else i can do so that the file can be a much smaller size? If not, then i can deal.

convert it to Lagarith instead. It eats up more processing power, but it will be relatively smaller. Also probably best to get rid of the audio.

Isnt that a avisynth script??? And i found out. But isnt a lagarith file a lossless codec. I thought i heard that that meant that its a even bigger file.

Huffy is a lossless codec too. if you're gonna edit with it, you'll want it lossless.

To get rid of audio in Vdub, just go to Streams>Stream list>disable. That'll get rid of the audio if you're not using avisnyth. Huffy and Lags are both lossless, but lags is something around a 3rd smaller.
