Zenkaikon 2008 AMV Contest

This is your final reminder. You have 3 days left before the deadline.

If you have an AMV you've worked on, and would like to have compete, or even just to have it shown during the general screening, just send me a link to your video. I'm looking to fill in some time slots for AMV screening, so there is a VERY HIGH chance that if you submit your AMV, that it will be seen by a large, live audience.

Eh, you missed Tandokucon too, but that was a load of rubbish. I don't even know if Tandokucon is going to happen again this year. Boy golly, I am going to deter anyone from submitting to that convention or offering to coordinate an AMV contest for those people. ANYWAY!

The deadline is past! I have received all of the AMV submissions. 100% of submissions were digitally submitted. If you sent us something by mail, we did NOT get it.

After going over a few things with other Zenkaikon Staff members, I will release the list of editors participating in the AMV Contest and General Screening. I will also send out individual e-mails to each AMV editor. Expect something this weekend.

I have sent out an e-mail to all AMV Editors who have qualified for the AMV Contest. Every qualifying editor that submitted an AMV has 1 of their videos shown in the AMV Contest, and will have their second AMVs shown during the general screening. We have 15 Editors and 4 Genres. 4 in Drama, 4 in Action, 4 in Romance, and 3 in Upbeat/Comedy.

The AMV Contest is from 12:30-2 PM on Saturday, October 18th.

I didn't think I was gonna get in after the badges were depleted. I was lucky... some of the people in the line behind me had to go by-by.
