Re: Favourite Artists/Bands?
Out of the ones already mentioned I would consider Tool, Opeth, A Perfect Circle, Amon Amarth, and Angelspit as some of my favorites. Others would be
The Cure
Genre:Punk, Post-Punk, New Wave(past). Alternative, New Wave(current).
Years Active:1976 - present
Origin:Crawley, United Kingdom
Current Members:
Robert Smith (1976 - present) [Vocalist, guitarist, bassist, piano, drums, trumpet, and trombone] (Mostly just vocalist and guitarist, in various albums he plays many different instruments though)
Simon Gallup (1979 - 1982) (1984 - present) [Keyboardist, acoustic guitar]
Jason Cooper (1995 - Current) [Drummer]
Porl Thompson (1976 - 1979) [Guitarist] (1983 - 1993) [Saxophone] (2005 - current) [Guitarist]
Laurence Tolhurst (1976 - 1989) [Drummer, keyboardist]
Michael Dempsey (1977–1979) [Vocalist, bassist]
Matthieu Hartley (1979–1983) [Keyboardist]
Phil Thornalley (1982 - 1985) [Bassist]
Clifford Leon Anderson (1983 - 1984) [Drummer]
Boris Williams (1984 – 1993) [Drummer]
Roger O'Donnell (1987 - 1990) (1995 - 2005) [Keyboardist, pianist]
Perry Bamonte (1990 - 2005) [Guitarist]
Albums:
1979 - Three Imaginary Boys
1980 - Seventeen Seconds
1981 - Faith
1982 - Pornography
1984 - The Top
1985 - The Head On The Door
1987 - Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me
1989 - Disintegration (Favorite!)
1992 - Wish
1996 - Wild Mood Swings
2000 - Bloodflowers
2004 - The Cure
2008 - 4:13 Dream
Funny history with them because I actually discovered them from watching the South Park episode Super Mecha-Streisand, basically Robert Smith guest stars as himself in it, he whoops Barbra Streisand's ass and even kicks Cartman in the balls. "Robert Smith of The Cure kicks ass", so I just had to check them out after that X). And what a great idea that was. The Cure has everything from happy pop songs to break up songs to depressive well written songs and positive motivating songs. Their name really lives up to reputation for me because I'm always in a different mood every day but no matter what mood I'm in there's always an album by them that I can connect with perfectly. Most of the time I prefer their darker albums like Disintegration, The Head On The Door, Bloodflowers, and Wish but I can also get into the corny popish albums too. Also Disintegration has got to be one of the greatest albums I've ever heard, it's just so relaxing to listen to. Depressing at times but overall a great experience by the end.
Celldweller
Genre:Experimental, Electronic, Industrial
Years Active:1999 - current
Origin: Detroit, Michigan, USA
Current Members:
Scott "Klayton" Albert (1999 - current) [Vocalist, programmer, remixer, everything under the sun]
Albums:
2003 - Celldweller
2004 - The Beta Cessions
2008 - Soundtrack For The Voices In My Head Vol.1
Celldweller - the versatile outlet of the artist, performer, producer, songwriter, programmer, and remixer Klayton - began as a producer pseudonym in the early 90’s. Now, over a decade later, Klayton (born Scott Albert) uses the name to deliver his vision of progressively combining multiple genres of music. Taking a unique approach to mixing styles, Celldweller fuses the electronics of drum & bass and techno, with rock and orchestral elements, meshing the synthetic and the organic, darkness with beauty, into a cohesive blend entirely its own.

Re: Favourite Artists/Bands?
Was too lazy to put them up before but it needed to be done:
Zwei
Genre: Rock/Pop
Female duo, Ayumu and Megumi. Very addictive to listen to, the second I was introduced to their song "Distance" I immediately fell in love. Ayumu's vocals are wonderful and uplifts your spirit, very inspiring. Megu's guitar-work is exceptional, her instrumental track, "My name is Megu" is a treat to listen to.
And personally, one of my favorites pics of the two:
