Why no Bittorrent?

I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question, or if it has been asked and answered before, but...

Is there some reason a-m-v.org does not include torrent links or even its own tracker for the videos here? It might help cut down on bandwidth costs, particularly if you can find some users willing to commit to seeding. (I'd be happy to volunteer.)

Because it's not effective for older videos, which only get, at best, a download every few months.

(a) We're nowhere near out of bandwidth

(b) We don't really have that many simultaneous downloads of the same video

The only time torrents would make any sense would probably be for the VCA bundles, and maybe if another AMV Hell happens. Even the VCA didn't run us out of bandwidth, though...
