Post by Nariko_sama » Wed Oct 22, 2008 5:48 pm

i am sure you came cross something like this before ..

i have this new notebook that came with vista (i didnt have much choice )
and i want to start using it for editing instead of my old computer ..

and avisynth is not working !! (i think its supposed to )

heres what happened :

i tried amvapp3 beta and both virtualdubmod and avisynth werent working ..

so i unistalled it and downloaded the apps seperatly and every time i download avisynth VDM stopps working ...

i tried 2.5.6 and 2.5.7

and havent moved any plugins folder or anything ...

i use vista home premium ,SP1 , 32-bit (x86)

is there a way to get it to work ,,,and am i going to face more problems as i go on editing with vista ?

this actually just happened to me, i've been using the "absolute destinies all things audio/visual" guide and i just installed the 3.0 beta version amvapp and somehow my media player classic is now messed up. i remember something like this happening when i first got vista but that was about a year and a half ago so i cant remember what i did to fix it, it was something like one media player does not work on vista but another version does. any help?

Media Player Classic is not compatible with Vista if I read Zarxrax correctly.

The tests wont work on vista but avisynth will. I usually test it with a script + file path ;/
