Quality Issues

Ok, well. I have these footage which are close to perfect quality. And after im done editing with them in vegas and render, the close to perfect quality is lost. [This is with lossless].

Another question:
How do I compress and AMV to a real small file but keep a tottaly clean quality.

Make a .avs file

AVISource("Path\blabla.avi")
ConvertToYV12

I guess not. The codec I use, it uncompressed, but sometimes lagarith.
My pixel aspect ratio is 0.9191 and my Frame Rate it 29.700 fps. So I guess thats my problem

And one more thing. The guide wont open. What should i open it with?
