What Rip program will work for Windows Movie Maker

Hi I'm new and I downloaded [MOD 403: redacted, please read the org <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=289">Forum Rules</a>] but I dont know how to use rip software and dont have any please help me out its my first AMV and when I published it to my computer the screen was cut in half the AMV was on top and a green screen was on the bottom

Whats wrong Please Help!!!

ripping is for dvds (which you should be using for footage, official site stance ya know...)

the eadfag beta will help you
it's technical, it's long, it will most likely take a few reads to have all the info soak in...but it goes over nearly everything you need to know.
