Episode 4...

It really sucked because I watched the first 18 minutes, then firefox shutdown and I lost connection to my router for twelve hours... ;_;

Anyway:
Spoiler :
I was surprised to an EXTENT that Sunohara actually came to her rescue, I mean how would he know she was there?

I understand that Okazaki told him that Mei was talking to the soccer team, but meh.

But overall I loved the episode, really touching. :)

Ahhh, good ol' good group for episode 4! 8-)

Pretty much the same overall thoughts you peeps already mentioned
Spoiler :
with the soccer team being total asses (dear God, poor Mei), and the brawl Tomoya and Youhei started up. This reaffirms the sibling relationship Youhei and Mei has for each other, and his and Tomoya's friendship (manly style; through their fists :o ).
I said it once, and I'll say it again. I'm REALLY enjoying how Nagisa takes the initiative and stay with Tomoya and Mei even though she knows the risks that are coming towards. She has really grown strong and dependable (and a little stubborn).

So next episode start's Misae's "arc". I always wondered about that dorm lady.

Did the whole backstory with the soccer team kind of confuse anyone else?
Spoiler :
I mean, he started a fight with the upperclassmen of the team when he was a freshman, and had to quit because of it. Now that he's a senior, shouldn't everyone that he had fought with have graduated by now? I don't see why there should still be a conflict between him and the remaining members of the soccer team. >_>
Did that occur to anyone else? =\
... yea ...

so basically, After Story is going through the arcs of all the side characters to increase the size of the inevitable caravan at the end?

Episode 5 now deals with Misae's arc which I heard it's going to be really short.
Spoiler :
And it looks like we got some supernatural element going because supposedly Misae's cat is talking to Tomoya (who was starting to doze off) telepathically about granting someone's wish.

*CUE FLASHBACK*

Now we're dealing with Misae's school days who was ready to confess towards a guy named Igarashi, but then a shota-ish boy named Shima arrived near her vicinity, and Igarashi misinterpreted his presence as Misae's boyfriend. She was definitely pissed at Shima.

Shima introduced himself to Misae, and said to her that he can grant her one wish which of course she doesn't believe him. He was getting really persistent towards her to a point a few more peeps those two were a couple. Later on, Shima explained to Igarashi that he wasn't going out with Misae, and that she had a crush on Igarashi. Unfortunately Shima has to become the bearer of the bad news because Igarashi told him that he already has a girlfriend.
That part with the girl and the robot looks like it's going to starting taking shape on its importance. And it seems like Misae's arc will be the catalyst in taking Tomoya's and Nagisa's relationship to the next level.
