That's one thing it could be referring to. It's also in quite a few other Zelda games.

But 76 is right in this case, due to context. I don't know about you, but I think Ganon's Lair (Spectacle Rock from the original Zelda) would leave you in that particular state more than Spectacle Rock from other iterations of Zelda would.
