Project: Editor (Round 3) Deadline November 22

Ok. This was just the weirdest situation I do believe I've ever seen.

First off, the secret judge decided to withdraw his 50 points, and will have his decision on who wins immunity within the next few days.

Secondly, it was a huge pain in the ass to go through that last thread and see who took the twist and who did not do the twist.

Thirdly, without the twist, there was three ties. Strangely enough, the ties were broken (for the most part) because of the twist.

Anyway, here are the results.

3rd Place: Zero Link (179/200)
4th Place: LeapofFate ; Otohiko (178/200)
5th Place: krzT (176/200)
6th Place: Vivaldi (172/200)

9th Place: ShatteredFlames (162/200)
10th Place: Nai (149/200)
11th Place: Krisqo (144/200)

As usual, there was a vast difference in actual judging. Some were harsher and some were lighter. There were obvious differences in opinions, and it showed clearly.

Anyway, let me tell you my three favorite videos out of this round, to tantalize you with images that will so be in the Compilation.

Zero Link: It was probably the best in terms of executing the theme perfectly. Or in my opinion at the least. Editing was fun, and I find myself watching it repeatedly!

LeapofFate: It was really fun to watch, and it just hit the theme right on top of the head. Excellent anime and song choice too!

krzT: Despite it being so short, I still enjoyed it immensly. I found myself thinking I was watching a child's edition of Barney in japanese! :O

I'm sure my fellow judges have vastly different opinions than mind though.

I can say it now that the results are out.

I still think that taking the twist + getting the points = double advantage.

so.. 2 people have immunity now? I thought the secret judge got to pick or whatever. So are there gonna be 3 people with immunity in round 3? XD

My 3 fav picks of the round:

1) CasttoStone: hands down the best in the round. Clearly.

2) blabbler: I gave you 9 in theme cause you made it longer than permitted.

3) Oto: I actually liked your one a lot, it was perfect imho, although I kind of could have done without some of the wiggle-ing. Still, awesome job to you too.

I actually gave these 3 full 10 (well, 9 on theme to blabbler, and I already said why).

But seriously, the other vids where all really cool too!

That's correct. 1st and Second Place got immunity, plus whoever the secret judge picks.

Edit: The twist with extra points was a bad idea on my part, and I apologize for it. I have really stupid ideas at times, and this just proved it. Trust me, this round's twist will not offer up any extra points as a means to take it. T________T

mirkosp: hey, it's called "Project Editor". I felt like I'd be lazy if I didn't mess with some weird motion and crap on the end of it. Thought it needed to be extreme and crap

(but you're probably right, and motion/noise and such stuff are probably one of the things I'm really pretty crappy at most of the time)
