Anyway...

Video quality was poor. Editing was poor and didn't sync well with the song. Footage was poorly obtained and no real execution was done. Heck, there wasn't much of a story there. I don't speak Japanese, but I'm pretty sure the lyrics were just randomly applied to footage.

Being honest, taking Skittles and making AMV's out of it is not the best method of editing. Even with permission, it still just looks... Tacky.

We want to see new stuff when downloading videos. Not the same things over and over again.

The point is, If you knew (or bothered to learn) anything about encoding, that could've been 20 megs, at 848x480 with still decent quality.

If you mean professional, no. If you mean experienced, almost everyone in this thread is. Try wayching the top 10% videos, and for that matter, watch the VCA award for "Best first video." If you're just saying you just like to mess around and stuff and aren't trying to be seriously involved, fine, but don't be belligerent about it.

Honestly.....for me, it didn't fit. I turned it off about halfway through. I couldn't look at it. Come on, dude. At least try and be original in what you do. Make your own stuff. Rip footage from DVD's you already own to your comp, and edit with that. Learn how to make your own effects instead of relying on someone else's AMV and effects to get you by. Regardless of the fact that you had permission, your probably just going to get flamed, for doing this.

Vivaldi is right...if you have come to this site for critique, then be prepared for some of the most detailed critiques you have ever received...that's what this place is known for. People who only want good crit's, shouldn't come here. Everyone has their own tastes when it comes to AMV's.

And yes. We prefer and WANT to see new stuff when we download AMV's...not the same stuff we've seen a million times. And as Vivaldi has already stated, most of the people in this thread are not pro's but are far more experienced than the average YT user. Just saying man....be original....and present your stuff in as good as quality as possible...people tend to knitpick about that around here XD
