Julian let me beta his video, and I can honestly say it didsn't suck when I last watched it.

Well I have to say I'm surprised. Thanks for the positive responses everyone, I would have bet money this one would go over like a led zeppelin. Glad to see people digging the mood and enjoying the song. Consider my faith in the AMV public restored.
And Aaron, it is possible to do a quality rip from vinyl, but only if you have access to a home studio. The vinyl was the original 1969 pressing in mint condition. The turntable was the now famous Technics-1200 (every DJ in every club has used these things), with a fancy schmancy cartridge and stylus. I ran it through a Conrad-Johnson PV12 Tube Preamplifier to give it that golden, gooey, warm sound. It was then captured to Adobe Audition at 24bit 96Khz.
Most people can't playback 24bit audio, especially in media players, so I dithered it down to 16bit, 48Khz. It still sounds good, but the master is much better.

Yes, this has nothing to do with mp4. This is h264 in avi, something which shouldn't be done because it's a hack with sync issues.Warheart wrote:It was encoded with mp4 why is it an avi then? Isn't mp4 just a container for certain codecs like eg. h264?
