Spitfire, I refuse to watch anyone's work on u tube. Plus with the attitude I've seen so far, I'd like it if you didn't post in this thread again, thank you.

And here's my beta. Quality is iffy in good terms but I still think it might but good enough. If not I can fix it up.

Yeah the quality is a bit bad.

Also, the editing is pretty decent, but the theme of what you're going for seems kind of random to me. =/ Not to mention the source of X: The Movie doesn't seem to fit very well with that type of song.

I agree. The editing is decent at best but the scenes don't really match the music and lyrics.

Kazemon would know more about the story though, as I haven't seen X before.

Well if you look at it the song is called "open your eyes" In the beta I was trying to show the story of the 2 friends and their fate to be against each other and how it lead up to their big fight (which I havent got to yet) The scene seems to fit to me because of I did do some lyric sync. I can see how you maybe thought they are random. But most of the scenes I used where intended to fit and show a story and lead up to the final fight.

For the lyrics part I find the open your eyes part to fit the whole theme. At the beginning the song says "I do need some help" and I use scenes ofKamui the main character doing stuff he shouldnt be doing and in another part it says "back to where we start" I show their childhood flashbacks.

Althought if you found some of it random I can kinda see why. But I think it will make more sense to you once I finish the whole thing.

But is it good enough to be in though ?

I guess I can see where you're coming from there. But the movie really doesnt have alot of scenes that you are suggesting on doing. I can see the theme you're going for...I think the TV series would be a better source than the movie, since the movie did seem rushed and I feel had very little development on Kamui's character. (or any other character for that matter, since Subaru died like 5 minutes into the movie XD )

So I recommend switching your source to X: The TV Series. I think you'll find better scenes to work with and make it flow better than just the limited scenes from the movie. So if you wouldn't mind trying with a different source for a better flow, could you make another beta? More emphasizing on what you're going for...

Since you were talking about friends and the past, I really found it rather random and off to show Kamui's mother. I know she had alot of say in what the two were fated to do, but not everyone knows that, so just focus more on Fuuma and Kamui's relationship. I think that will flow better.

Though, I still think the song just seems a little too uppity for any type of X series in general...
