The article said the manga was suspended, not the anime.
I think it's pretty safe to say that the anime won't catch up to the manga before [the anime] ends. Then again, I have no idea how many volumes are out or where the anime is in relation to it.

There is no palm big enough for the facepalm the otaku mentioned in that article earned.

Man, much as I would rather Kannagi continued, I have to say, the outright weirdness level I have been seeing connected with Kannagi and Toradora recently has me seriously wondering if I would want to be stuck in the same room with "fans" of the series in Japan.

I like to think of myself as extremely odd, but I pale to absolute blandness in comparison.

On the upside, the chances of those otakus ever managing to breed are considerably remote (you need real females, not a damned animated image).
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

Seriously.

After reading about some otaku ripping up the Kannagi manga out of frustration because of finding out his 2D "wife" had a boyfriend.

I find it just horribly sad for that individual and the many other people like him/her.
