So, is Cardcaptors on its own a decent show? Or is it completely butchered because of the censoring? I want more than one opinion.
Oh it's butchered. It starts on Episode 5 or 6. The one when Shouran shows up first. Then they go and make the show predominantly about Shouran.

But don't take my word for it..

On another note... i don't think anyone mentioned Angelic Layer.

I think that Full Moon would be perfect. It's dubbed. It's appropriate. It's shoujo. It's great. If it were dubbed... Shugo Chara would also work. Perhaps... Di Gi Charat?

The age rating said Older Children... http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... php?id=298

To be honest i didn't think it was all that dramatic till the very end but i enjoyed it. It's got life lessons in it though i'm not sure if a kid would understand it overall.

How has Sailor Moon NOT been included on this list? The first and second seasons are quite watchable dubbed. After R though... S and SuperS are hard to get through because of the voice actress changes. But I watched Sailor Moon when it was airing in the US the first time around. Even now, though I prefer subbed from several standpoints, there is nothing overtly wrong about the first two seasons dubbed. I especially think they did a decent job with the Alan/Anne (Doom Tree) arc.

I still adore Sailor Moon, and it has had a much bigger impact on my life, admittedly, than any other anime series, and that includes my beloved KOR. It was just there at the right time to get me into anime full blown while I was in middle school.
