Then why did you say anything?

I have all the episodes up to 10, but have only watched 7. Maybe I'll find time to watch the other three this week.

Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.

after watching ep11, I have to think, isn't Nagisa abnormally selfless? Like, does a perfect girlfriend even exist in this world like her? I say that because Clannad to me is meant to be down to earth but Nagisa, eh I dunno, she doesn't reflect a real teen girl to me coz shes too selfless :/

Episode 11.
Spoiler :
Man, how many bishoujo slice-of-life anime series actually deal with the work life of the main male character? It's rather fascinating and inspiring how Tomoya is adapting to the world of being a professional at his work place. And not to mention the importance of taking responsibility during work.

And there's Nagisa. Despite the fact she's mostly by herself and on her own during school, she never let her loneliness overpower her. That should be enough evidence on the type of character she really is and should serve a purpose of knocking down any preconceptions some jaded people have on her.
And of course the funny moments,
Spoiler :
- EPIC LIGHT SABER BATTLE!!!

- the lizard prank Akio pulled on Sanae with Tomoya as an allaby!

Her selflessness personality is almost similar how my sister acts, so I can to a certain extent relate to that (except of that "perfect girlfriend" concept  )

I dunno about selfless... She is alot more caring then any girl I've met though. As for perfect girlfriend... Meh thats based off of perception. She's not mine thats for sure.
Spoiler :
She wanted him to take the day off with her for the school event as an example. Instead of spending time with him she decided to take her exams which she didnt even need to do.
I'm sure there was other examples... I've just forgotten and used this episode.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Just look at how Nagisa was raised and it all makes sense.
Spoiler :
It's partially due to her weak immune system, as well is being physically weak. But for the most part it comes from her parents. They were both incredibly selfless people who gave up their careers so Nagisa wouldn't be alone after the time (fuzzy memory) when something happened while they were working. Akio even offered Tomoya a job with a second thought. Sanae, Akio, and Nagisa never stop thinking about the well-being of others. I know a few people (in real life) with the same mentality.

Spoiler :
Let me rephrase that. Selfless is a bit strong. But every person, no matter who they are unless there is something wrong with them, has some selfishness. Which explains Nagisa's actions recently. But don't be such a pessimist and assume that people are bad in some way. William Goulding did not say that man is essentially evil, he said the man had a choice to be evil or good, but nobody can be truly good. Nagisa is not truly good. Now I'll stop before I start ranting

Nagisa isn't unique, my 16 year old niece has alot of her traits. Her mother has had to send her after her clothing because she had given it away to a friend she had thought 'needed' it (jackets etc).
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

Episode 12.....this was by far one of the BEST episodes After Story has offered! I would love to see every naysayer to start watching this episode because you do NOT get these developments and themes from your everyday bishoujo visual novels. For everyone else who lasted through the past 35 episodes, this is the start of getting well paid off.
Spoiler :
- Due to Tomoya's hard work with the electric company, the manager recommended him to transfer to another firm which allows him get a higher pay.

- Yoshino's backstory about his rock career and his journey to stardom and then to the end is revealed. I was rather shocked by the events he described (he was actually doing drugs  ). Moral of the story: don't lose sight of what's important to you.

- Tomoya got an urgent call from one of his dad's colleagues. He said to him that his dad got arrested. Worst part of it is that colleague is part of the new firm Tomoya was supposed to get transfer to, but rumors spread quickly which then cost Tomoya's job opportunity. :(

- Tomoya is pretty much in despair and then wanted Nagisa to go with to leave the city. Obviously she said no because that's considered running away. They decided to visit his dad in jail which ended up his dad not responding to any of Tomoya's frustrated words. He then stormed off and released his pent-up rage by punching a concrete brick wall. And....damn!!! :x

- As Nagisa calmed Tomoya down, out of the blue Tomoya proposes to her to marry him, and she accepted it!!! :P
Perfect stopping point because Episode 13 won't be out for the next two weeks!

Ep 12 made me love the series again. Ive been watching it and not like its been bad or anything, but the show really shines when it focuses just on Tomoya and Nagisa.

And the fangirl in me exploded around the end of the episode >3<
