There was a small part of the video i wasn't feeling near the beginning but i enjoyed everything else in it.
Loved the sync especially during the fast action parts and I thought the color effects were neat.
Made me want to watch the show and eat some skittles for some reason o.O

imo you shouldn't have used so many scenes from the opening, especially having Medousa and Shinigami dancing was little off
About the color effects i have to agree with some of the above statements, the amv could be better without some of them.

This was a big miss for me. For all the good things I've heard about Soul Eater, this kinda made me not want to watch it. I think it was mostly the color effects. I think that the same video with the original coloring would've been ten times better.

Nicely done Chii! While not as adrenaline inducing as AOTO, I liked this video a lot! Reminded me a lot of how I edit my own action videos. I liked the feel and the color scheme you used and thought it fit quite well with the music and the scenes you chose.

I haven't watched much Soul Eater (up to 15-ish), but I'm even more intent on watching more after viewing your video!

Basically. I like how it was edited, but concept-wise, I don't know, It felt pointless.
I really dug the last third. It was crazy awesome.

EDIT: Better then the beta you had for sure. Like the scenes you replaced. Still hate the intro, but the outro was pretty cool. Love the song. And of course. soul tak- ...eater is pwnsm. All in all I'd say it turned out pretty good, maybe not something everyone will enjoy, but it shows lots of personalized styled editing, which i love.

Sorry, but I couldn't bring myself to like this. I enjoyed editing in only about 30 seconds of the video (somewhere after 2:20), the rest felt a bit too repetitive and kinda forcefully edited (I lack a better expression here, I can try and explain this if you want :\). Also the effects weren't my cup of tea either. I really like Soul Eater and your editing style, but this one turned out to be quite opposite. Props for the effort though.

S'aight, i know this vid isn't gonna appeal to many people.

I still don't get why people download videos without watching the anime beforehand ^^;; srsly though.. go watch it. It kicks the rainbows arse :<

Haha yeah this video isn't really horror, it just has a darker atmosphere and when i sent betas people kept saying "oh so you edit horror stuff now" so i figured i'd just add it as a category because of that. As for serious... well it definitely isnt upbeat.

I actually enjoyed the color effects, though I must admit some worked better than others. Also think the video could have benefited from being shorter, it just felt long and repetitive. Still a solid editing job overall.
