This series has 35 episodes so far (excluding ep24 from first season which was a special) but it still keeps getting better.A diamond indeed...

Honestly, I was blown away with this episode in terms of both pacing and development. By far one of the most powerful episodes for me, from both seasons collectively. Personally, I've been quite content with everything in After Story til this point, with the exception of anything really standing out and making me really get into it. This isn't to say it's bad, by and large a "normal" episode of Clannad is, comparatively a good episode of many other anime out there. I have come to expect a lot from this show, so it means that the bar is raised, and when a exceptionally good episode like this releases it really just confirms my expectations of the anime.
