I have a batch of AVI files that are having a hard time in adobe premiere pro 2.0.
These were originally OGM format, which adobe didn't read, so I converted the files to avi. At first, the files were pitch-black, and nothing showed in the program, but later, the video was showing, but now the length of the clips do not match to the length of the files on my computer.
The videos work fine on my computer, and are full episodes. On the program, it has only 2 minutes, except for one file that seems to be fine.
I have no idea how to fix this, and I still have the original OGM files. Is there any codecs, or do I have to convert the files again? It sounds more like a problem with the program to me.

Your problem is that you probably converted them to Divx/Xvid avis, and those are both codecs that eats Premiere alive from the inside. Use VirtualDubMod, found in the AMVApp (found Here), and convert them to a lossless codec, such as Lagarith or HuffYUV.
