yeah I uploaded all of my good videos

all of them passed

then I tried to upload that video with Cam'Ron and it got taken down

seems to me that YT now has a perfect protection against bad music in AMVs

They did just have a falling out with Warner over licensing money... If they don't at least attempt to pay lip service to the take down notices they could loose their safe-harbor.

Though, i'd like to see that happen to a degree.

i had my claymore amv taken down just after i put it up there, but i guess that's because they were taking down anything with claymore anime at the time.

other than that none of my other amvs have been touched, but then not many people pay attention to them anyway so YT is probably ignorant of their existance

Well there IS a good alternative to YT, it's called AMVSpace.com, it's like YT, except for AMVs, which is where I'm currently storing mine, I'm also making a website for my AMVs just so I never have to post them to YT again.

for me its not a matter of "storage" (if that was the case then I'd just upload to my own server - ohwait...) its a matter of reaching a wider audience - most of the other "places" don't have the audience that YT has - and as much as we like to bitch about them, I like the idea of more people seeing my videos - not to mention people will upload my videos anyways I'd like some of the comments to go to my inbox

You're lucky your account didn't get suspended, the person who got me into amvs had his entire account for over a year with around 100 amvs and he got suspended 2 days after he put the word Claymore in one of his past amvs. He sorta knew what he was doing though so I guess he was asking for it, he opened another account the next day like nothing happened. This was back in May before YT started just blocking amvs and giving warnings instead of just immediately suspending accounts though, they really made uploading amvs with a certain word a terrible crime back then. On a different note, love Claymore

I wish there was just some big website willing to put up a big information database and storage server for all the AMVs in existence, you know, so things can be organized by, say: anime, music, genre, etc.

We should totally pool some money together to put something like that together.
