I wish there was just some big website willing to put up a big information database and storage server for all the AMVs in existence, you know, so things can be organized by, say: anime, music, genre, etc.

We should totally pool some money together to put something like that together.

I just had my latest AMV taken down within an hour after I uploaded it . It really sucks because I went to all the trouble of making sure it would display in 16:9 for nothing. I always wait until I get some feedback on YouTube before I take my AMV's to the org and now I'm going in blind.

I'd been upping my videos to gametrailers.com if I want to have them streamed. They fricken LOVE AMVs there, they seriously post urging ppl to upload EVERY AMV they have whether they made them or not, only they suggest you do a search to see if somebody else beat you to it first ^.^ lol, I don't know how they do it, but it's been like this for a couple years.

Hmm...I would've thought that by now people wouldn't be too surprised with the crap YT does to keep AMVs off...I know it's been said many times by now, but YT just isn't the place for AMV.

I've had 3 of my videos deleted from there but I've just stopped caring a WHILE ago.

There is an upside to YT blocking the audio though, it means no one can steal that video and claim it's theirs and upload it to YT, even though we can't put it up ourselves, it means no worries about it getting stolen.
