Oooookay. I've finally put a beta together as inspiration for the rest. Just keep in mind it's still in it's early stages. Also, shinny balls and on nom nom.

(the balls will be isolated and divided, then moved around free hand. It should take some time, but the product of playing with those balls could be great.
