I am starting to realize that Youtube is becoming more annoying. Due to this, I have decided to start uploading all my videos on this site. However, I noticed that there is a 100MB limit for videos. When I made my videos, I made an original copy whihc ranges anywhere from 250-450 MB. When I uploaded it to Youtube, they too had a 100MB limit. So I ended up converting to a smaller size, which reduced the qulaity greatly. My question is, what format, size, quality, etc. should I use to upload here so the viewer can get the best quality of what I have? I appreciate any input on the subject. If you wanna see what I have done just visit my youtube page:

I do apologize if some of the videos are muted but that is because of Youtube, not me. I orignally started uploading them on megaupload for download, but I felt that this would be better in the long run. Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Uploading for best quality
After rereading, I saw the whole booshack thing. I did some research real quick and laughed a little. I wasnt trying to advertise, just thought you could look at it and see if I was even worth the bother. LOL. I have registered so I am not lazy. I did upload two videos last year at some point, but wasn't pleased with the quality. But seeing as how "Booshack" has taken it this far, this is the best alternative.

1. Compress your audio. That tends to bring the filesize down quite a bit without video quality loss.
2. Currently the smallest and best looking compression is from .mp4 (either x.264 or h.264, can't remember which), which you can learn about, along with many other compression methods here. It's also recommended you read the entire guide.

H.264 is the format, x264 is the encoder, MP4 is the container. MP4 can also store MPEG-4 Part 2 Advanced Simple Profile (aka what Xvid encodes). The Origonal Head Hunter wrote:2. Currently the smallest and best looking compression is from .mp4 (either x.264 or h.264, can't remember which)

Thank you so much. I started reading the guide but it looks like it may take a while so I will have to pace myself. The guide is very detailed and looks like it covers so much. Just glancing through, I already found a way to fix several problems that I had in the past ie interlacing. Again, thanks for the tips.
