Eh, I'd concede some points, but I'll stand by other's. Your track though, so it's up to you.

As far as my track, I've made some changes. I've taken a temporary break to work on a solo project, but I'll make the next beta deadline fine.

The boxes seem completely pointless, they're not even showing an important scene, it just feels like a way of shoehorning in more footage. The exception is the last box, in which case the footage has meaning, but still feels out of place.
Actually, that first box, portrays him looking out over the sky, and then when she says:

"Surrounded by the comfort and protection of a highest power......"

He get's surrounded by his friends. It's not a useless scene or just a way to add extra footage.
I pretty much understood it when I started to see a couple of people come in at 0:14, meaning I didnt understand it until that point and I feel that you could cut out the part of him standing alone before everyone gets there, but still boxes are a no-go :nono:. The only time boxes are ever used like that are for like 'TV-in-TV' and it could be relevant in a comedy amv. What you can do and I feel that this would better convey things to the audience is instead of showing the guy carrying the old women on his back, you could show that scene that you had in the box (but not in box form, it would be a normal clip). So right at "I was surrounded", you fade into that scene. That scene is more important and therefore a lot more focus should be given to it. I personally, feel that it would be a better way to get the point across to an audiences that has not seen the anime.

0:13 it's not really precisely synced, it doesn't fit the pace of the rest of the clip. you cut to and from the same clip 3 times, and altogether it was just headshots of the same two people, So I don't really see relivency to the lyrics or the rest of the amv. Personally I would say use only one or clips with a more sweeping camera motion to get the emotion across, but I don't know the source, so whatever works.
It does fit the pace of the song, and the lyrics. And also, it's not the same scene....it just looks like the same scene is all.
I agree with vivaldi on this one. TC, you're reading too much into the voice of the song. Yes, she says 'pleasure' pretty quick, but the harshness in the scene change throws off the viewer because even though 'pleasure' is said quickly, it doesnt have that really harsh/jerking feeling when you hear it. It's on of those things in a song that you should just skip over for the sake of flow.

|:> You're beta pretty much could practically be submitted as a final as it is. So you just got a couple of things to straighten out. A lot of things said on your beta were meant for tweaking purposes.

I wrote a beta review for Hagaren Viper and sakuraslight but then my computer crashed before I could post it. :x I'll rewrite it soon.

As for my beta? I'm messing around with drawing more emphasis on the background of what's going on when Train is running because it is my main focus, basically, what I'm trying to do there is to recreate the scene in a different way (no really there are spoilers to the series in this):
Spoiler :
When Train is running through the city looking for Saya before Creed kills her, he is recalling the times he had with or I'm making the audience remember the times he had with her. Generally, I'm editing my track to revolve around that episode, in Train's last night with Saya.
I'm messing around with the running to try and draw less attention to it. I took Kazemon's advice and I'm getting the running to sync to the beat by slowing it down. I'm also going to move it from center screen by lowering it and see what that does for it. However, if I cant get it to work, I'm tossing out the running idea.
Another thing is that I'm fixing some of the slowed down parts so that you're not getting this frame by frame thing going on like at :09.

Also, Vax contacted me asking if I wanted to him to make some sigs and a new banner. So expect to see something soon.

I'll be sure to look at all the things everyone mentioned in that beta. Also, LA.....I found an anime movie I have, that I really wanna use, and the animation style fits perfectly with the Godannar art style. I kinda wanna use it in my Godannar track.

This goes along with the fact that I wanted to redo the beginning half of it anyway. More than likely I won't redo it, I will probably tweak it. But in the case that I do redo the beginning half of my track, I would like to add:

Inuyasha: Fire On Mystic Island to my list of sources.

It's just an idea though. I'll let you know if I'm gonna do it before I actually start re-editing the first half.

Just a thought I would run by you.

It's really hard for me to see how you can fit the two together, unless you were to divide your track between them. Let's see what happens though. I'd say to be safe save another copy of your project file before editing with the two of them so if we decide it's not working out, you dont loose your work.
