Fiiiiiiinally got to see episode 13 the conclusion of the second series.
The last show is really good.
Man this show takes a real pit bull of a dedication to find out there in the ether though
It's not a long run, 2 sets of 13 shows. Might be nice to hunt it down on dvd.

I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes of S2, I thought it was horrendous.
Keep in mind that S1 is one of my favorite Anime and I have not read the Manga (nor much care to).

I like the first season, but I'm not so sure if this one will make it better or ruin it. Probably ruin it, but I'm willing to give it a go. I also am having a hard time finding them all and prob wont watch it until I do.
I love to wear absurd and totally impractical garments. What's more, I derive great pleasure from spending time with women for no apparent reason.

It's a tricky season to watch and I won't deny that. But that is mainly because it has an involved plot and cast and might be hard to keep sorted out.
It's not the atypical in your face obvious anime for sure. Frankly that is what I liked about it. I don't aaaaaalways want airheaded big boobed schoolgirls with a mass crush on a single disinterested schoolboy hehe.
I consider Noir, Madlax, and Gunslinger girls to be some of the best in anime crime/thriller dramas I have ever watched.

Noir was not very good either. It literally took me about 6 months to watch it on Netflix. I would just leave the DVD sitting, collecting dust, because I didn't have the WILL to watch another episode. One of the slowest Anime I've ever watched (despite having a token action scene every episode).Sukunai wrote: I consider Noir, Madlax, and Gunslinger girls to be some of the best in anime crime/thriller dramas I have ever watched.
Now I know it's in the manga, but the thing that pissed me off most about Il Teatrino was seeing

Can't fault you on the second point, but hmm not liking Noir definitely puts us as liking anime for differing reasons
To call an anime slow is an odd complaint. I rather like to complain when an anime is long such as Bleach at 205 episodes with likely 25% that never should have seen the light of day (according to a friend of mine in response to filler episodes).
I generally prefer animes to be finite, under 50 sum shows and not subject to the need for filler.
Even the shows I like, usually can be said to have jumped the shark after 100 shows.
