Is Monster anime finally getting an English release?

VIZ holds the rights to the Monster manga, and it looks like they're going to finally pick up the anime.

I'm doubtful we'll get an English dub with it, but it's about time I saw this on North American shelves.

I reviewed it saying Monster felt like DBZ in a more dramatic box. SO many ppl took offense to that statement lol. But seriously it's like NOTHING ever gets accomplished it just drags on through the entire thing like DBZ battles.

I also heard it with my friends in North America. I guess the English version is finally getting its release this year.

I actually couldn't stand watching the Monster anime. Why? It was too damn faithful to the manga which I'd read from beginning to end and in doing so it moved way too slow to bear. Plus it's one of those series that seeing in full color was kinda painful. Black and white print was much more striking.
