It's 4:15pm on Wednesday, and I just got home from three back to back classes ending with a three hour lab.
I want a goddamn update.

So we've got a sniper-friendly arena map and a pyro-friendly cp map.... Scout-friendly pl map? Figured these would be something a scout would be useful for.

Not like anyone cares about arena I've played on both maps. While extremly sniper friendly, watchtower is pretty decent. Junction is rather small, (I don't know if you've played it) but the corridors that they mentioned only occur between the points, while the points themselves are in small rooms, surrounded by mostly open areas. So yeah, part of it is pyro friendly, but it's actually pretty friendly to all the classes (scout can be really good around the points, but not particularly on the points themselves). The Origonal Head Hunter wrote:So we've got a sniper-friendly arena map and a pyro-friendly cp map.... Regardless, I wasn't really expecting a community map pack. I believe there's still supposed to be a new payload map.

I haven't. Was just going off valve's description as a lot of small hallways perfect for ambushing.Tsunami Jones wrote: (I don't know if you've played it)

For "maps that the community has been heckling Valve to include for months", I'm surprised I haven't played on either one.
Also, they did this last time, remember? They adopted cp_steel.
