Road to Victory I [Hajime no Ippo AMV]
Time to start this year. I was waiting for the local to be up, since I like reading those QC - sometimes even they are about the AMV. But meh, please bear with the indirect links for now.
I have a small dream. I like making sentimental; drama kind of vids but I really want to create a good action vid.
Something that people will remember. I dont want simple fast hit/slash thing, but something with a storyline.
To be completly honest, I dont think this AMV reaches this goal, but it's a milestone for me.
So, if somebody liked this vid you might as well check a mini-trailer for the second part of it. Im planning to realise it this summer.
Ok, now I can fully concentrate on that Kamelot MEP track....

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Man, the poster made me lol
And vid itself- guess one need to watch Hajime no Ippo in order to enjoy it. Too bad I didn't watch it, so I wasn't moved and didn't have nostalgic feelings. The music was too plain and emotionless for action, although sync was good. Guess its just not my type of action vid

Re: Road to Victory I [Hajime no Ippo AMV]
Already dled and watched it and naw for real:
It was pretty nice and i got the idea u were trying to transmit, actually it is pretty much really clear.
The editing was nice, flowed well and simple enough for the watcher to be able to fully compreend it.
The song, specially lyrically, seemed to fit the anime reallly well also. The only "major" complainment i have (ok, it's not major but it's the biggest one i found on a first watch) is that i wasn't able to let go the idea that the song would be much more adequated for a simple tribute to the anime, with lot's of stuff mixed with no chronological order: or in other words, i didn't felt the song to be the more apropreated for trying to build-up the storyline, since the song itself doesn't have a clear and powerful build-up (am i makin sense? lawl).
Also, this is a tendency from u: relying a lot on pan/crop and sometimes i don't feel it looks nicer then it would look without it (sometimes).
Anywayz, still nice u foo! =3 keep it up
Edit: Are u happy naw? x)
