Older series you'd like to see remastered/animated
omg! And actual conversational topic from Brad about anime? It's true.
I was just thinking about this and wanted to put it out there. What old(er) series would you like to see go under the re-animation process? We've seen it happen with Kanon, and to a certain extent, Eva, and even FMA is doing it now (even though it's technically not all that old.. weird if you ask me). You've also got stuff like Haijime no Ippo which has a newly animated sequel series. Not exactly the same thing but, close. So if you could pick 1 or 2 series (don't just go off listing all your favorite old anime. Actually put genuine thought it. Maybe an older series should just remain in it's current form as is), which would they be?
I'd like to see an updated version of Fushigi Yuugi. I know a lot of people have problems with this series, but it's one of my old favorites. I'd love to see what a modern day studio could pull off with the characters and story.
Another that I think could be successful is Battle Athletes Victory. Again, not terribly old, but it's a really fantastic show and unfortunately by today's standards, it really does look dated. There are certainly some parts of the show where the animation is actually top notch (for it's time), but a lot of show just screams "low budget."
(INB4 DragonBall. And seriously, don't pick shows that came out like less than 4 years ago)

Gunsmith Cats - I haven't seen the actual anime, but from what I understand it deviated and left out a lot from the manga. I'd like to see something like they did with Hellsing, bring it back even better with everything that should be there, like Goldie and Bean Bandit. That and, if they did a remaster/reanimated version, I might be able to find it somewhere other than Amazon.

Trigun. I still like the animation in it but it'd be neat to see as long as they kept all the original voices.

X TV. The animation's not too bad as it is, but it's kinda cheesy/awkward by today's standards. Think of what some of the fights or dreams would look like with today's technology. *__*

They should really just animate the rest of the novels... cause those would be so fucking awesome... If they do that, I can make another FMP video... Next Time

Re: Older series you'd like to see remastered/animated
(I agree with Gunsmith Cats as well, we need more Bean)
I'd like to see Here Is Greenwood put back on the animation block hopefully fleshing out the story better by showing more from the manga.
I'd say Birdy but that already has been done.
So I guess that leaves Sailor Moon. Yeah I know, why do we need more of this? Well, lets just say I've been waiting on baited breath for a new series for a very long time ever since I first heard the rumor that a new series after Stars would be made. I don't think 200 episodes is enough, we need MOAR!
