How do I watch videos here?

I can't figure out where/how I can watch my videos or anyone elses... I uploaded a video and it says that it's there but, why can't I watch it? Can we even watch AMVs before we download/embed them from this website? I'm totally new to this website and now it's starting to confuse me... Can anyone shed some light on this problem? Everything is great here but, now it's starting to look grim for me. If I am unable to have a website where I can both upload and watch my videos, I guess I won't be staying too much longer. Maybe I will though, good networking site if I can't use it for anything else I suppose.

I will but, I'm not trying to Download anything yet. I first want to watch it online before I download it. It's a standard protocall in the way I was taught to conduct bussiness. Either I see before I buy or no deal. Same with Downloads too. I must see it before I have it or it's no deal for me.

I guess I can't preview videos here at all and unless someone can answer me with a proven way to WATCH AMVS WITHOUT DOWNLOADING THEM FIRST then, I'm just a ghost here. I hate it when great plans get thrown down the drain but, thats life for me and about 2 Billion other people I guess. Hmmmm... lets see, what website is next? ~Megadeth Parody Time BTW.~

You can't watch the videos without downloading them. That is just the way the site works.

The site is working on implementing a streaming option, but for now (and this is how it's worked here for almost 9 years), you download the videos and watch them that way.

I have been DLing stuff from the site for about 3 to 4 years now, and I still keep every video I got. It's not that much, because I don't download every stuff (something about only 10GB), but watching before downloading and then NOT downloading it would only offend the creator for me.

(also, no contemporary streaming has the quality of the contemporary video - no, probably not even boochsack HD)

But I guess it's just your way, see ya around... or not... depends on you~

Unless you're one of those poor shmucks still dying under the weight of the AOL monopoly, the 2-3 minutes it takes to download your average video is nothing.

And if you want to get technical, you don't watch videos without downloading on youtube either. Those videos are still downloaded, to a temp folder, in a crappy format. So unless you deal with true streaming video (as opposed to just embedded), you're always downloading anyway.

Unless you're still on a 56k line, downloading shouldn't be a problem for you. It's quick and really doesn't take up any more resources on your part than embedded video. And yes, the .org is working on an embedded video option, as a donator feature.
