i liked the end! pretty much everything i expected it too be

the only i didnt know was

the girl in the other world being ushio. that was a bit of a surprise
as for the preview is it supposed to be like nagisa's point of view or something/ that'd be interesting to see =)

I figure it's going to be an alternate start of the series where Nagisa pursues Tomoya instead of the other way around.
Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.

There's nothing to worry about.

FINAL EPISODE!!!

I say we should devote some discussion on
Spoiler :
the interpretations and relationship between the girl and the robot and Ushio and Tomoya respectively because there's obviously a connection. Fuuko's connection with Ushio sleeping near the tree that always appeared during the episode title screen is an intriguing one.

And yes, the happy ending that will in doubt split the viewers totally! I, for one, hoped for a "midpoint" ending where the miracle did happen with only Ushio living and thus end the series with Tomoya living as a single parent. I'm in the process in reading off other posts from other forums and blogs in order to determine what made the "True Ending" of Nagisa living acceptable because there has to be more to it than just a "LOL deus ex miracle".

All in all, I wonder if we can agree that everything that happened in the entire series has finally come together.
But more important matters are.....

Actaully it looks like next episode will be a one year prequel of the first Clannad series. Though I shall wait if the rumors of the Planetarian movie is coming true.

I'm expecting the usual scenario to happen, some company makes the Key game into anime or movie, screws it up. And then Kyoto Animation comes along and fixes it.

Thanks for the ride Clannad.It was an enjoyable 50 week ride and the ending pleased me from every aspect. :up: :up:
I was in a totally bad mood before watching it and now I'm all right!! :D
Oh,and every girl turned out to be great when grown up (Kotomi and Mei are the best imo,along with Nagisa)

Prequel times now...

haha yea they came out of the apartment together. they were the ones that lent kotomoi the violin in the first season

it was so weird seeing mei all grown up! tomoyo looked the same as usual. i thought kotomi was in america. why's the wheel on the right side?

They had the car on the right side of the road for Kotomi's segment. It'll have to do. My guess is the artists didn't know that little detail.

Hell, the terrain could pass for the American southwest. If you've never seen it.
